Forseeable FAQ #1
Ok, I read all the rules to how to play the game. I dont quite understand how it goes. Do you have an example play sequence that I can learn by?

Ok, lets say that Four people are going to play this game for this round.
John, Denise, Beth and Josh.

Step One: Establish a Thread on IMDB that will act as a communications thread for playing the game. The players submit their character names and which color dot they would like to be represented on the map.
Ex:
KillerJohn:  Hi, My character name is going to be Roland and I would like to have a Black dot for my character on the map.
DeadlyDenise:  Hey, My character's name will be Buffy, and I would like to have a Purple dot on the map.
Joshie:  Yo! my character's name is Flyingmushroomwafer. Gimme a Bright Green dot on the map. HAHAHA ROFLMAO LOL LOL
DeathBeth:  Character name: Bessie  ColorDot: Red.  Thank you.
*it is clear that Josh's character should be killed first  ;-)

When the players are done submitting their character info, weapons are randomly distributed to the "students" and their stats are updated on the stat boxes below the main Battlemap.

Step Two: The beginning of the round is announced on the IMDB Thread.  Players are now allowed to announce which hex they would like to move to via private message to the moderator or on the messageboard itself (Crazy Kiriyama characters may be prone to announce on the board itself to try to stir up conflicts quickly).
Examples:
DeathBeth: (via private message to moderator) Hey, I currently have the handaxe and can move 3 hexes. I would like to move to hex B3. thanks.
KillerJohn: (via announcement on messageboard) Arrrg! Come and get me A**holes! I am moving to hex C4!!!

The moderator will give the players 3 days to announce their movements. When everyone is ready, the map will be updated and announced on the IMDB Thread.

Step Three:  This brings us to the attack phase.
If you occupy the same hex as another character, you can announce if you want to attack the other character.  These announcements must be done within two days.
Examples:
DeadlyDenise: I am located on hex C4 with Roland. I want to attack him with my Handgun.
Joshie: I am on C4 too! I want to attack Buffy with my Leather Whip!
KillerJohn: I am located on hex C4 and want to attack Flyingmushroomwafer with my machine Gun.
Moderator: Buffy attacks Roland with her Handgun and rolls a 5. She shoots him in the arm for 5 points of damage.  (moderator updates stats Page)
Moderator: Roland attacks Flyingmushroomwafer with his machinegun and rolls a 2. He shoots wafer in the leg for 3 points of damage.  Flyingmushroomwafer snaps his whip in Buffy's direction and rolls a 6. He narrowly misses her and begins to stagger backwards in pain.  Flyingmushroomwafer only had 3 life points left. Flyingmushroomwafer is now dead. His lifeless body hits the ground like a sack of grain. A small amound of smoke still rises from the fresh bullet wound in his leg. (moderator updates stats Page)

Step Four: When attack phase is complete students are now allowed to swap weapons with corpses if there are any dead students on the same hex as them.
Example:
Killerjohn: I would like to trade weapons with Flyingmushroomwafer for his Whip.
moderator updates stats page to reflect the new weapon.
It is also at this time that Stalking priveledges should be announced/acknowledged. If you now have a weapon that has a greater (or equal to) move base than another weapon that is owned by an opponent student on the same hex. You can stalk them to their next location.
Example:
Killerjohn:  (via private message to moderator) Now that i have the Leather whip. My move base is equal to Buffy's. I am going to stalk her on the next round!
The moderator makes a note of this and on the next round. Roland follows Buffy to the next hex she decides to move to.
** NOTE ** if Denise/Buffy decided to stalk John/Rolad on the same round. They would simply stay on the same hex for the next round and have the opportunity to attack each other again.

Then we go back to Step one again and repeat the process until all but one studend have been slain!

Forseeable FAQ # 2
What good is stalking anyhow?

Stalking can be the difference between winning and losing if you play it right. If you grab a cumbersome weapon, be prepared to fight if someone wants to follow you to the death! If you opt for a light weapon, you can follow an opponent and have the upper hand (or retreat without being followed).

Forseeable FAQ # 3
Is there any way to get life points back?

Yes! The only way you can get life points back is to kill other students. If you successfully kill another student, you automatically take their food/rations and heal for 3 life points. If you and an ally kill a student together, you both receive 2 life points each. If three (or more) students attack and kill one student on the same attack phase, nobody from the group is eligable for the food bonus. NOTE: Your Life Point Total cannot go any higher than 12 life Points and you cannot save food.

Forseeable FAQ #4
Are there Danger Zones (like the film) in BRO?

Yes, two danger zones are announced every other round. The danger zones are random, will be shown clearly on the map, and announced on the messageboard/website. If a student occupies the same dangerzone for two movement phases consecutively, their collar will detonate and they are pronounced dead. You have PLENTY of time to move out of the zone to escape death. This game is about being on the move and staying alive.
